Children & Families at Destiny Newcastle

We are passionate about young people at Destiny church and have a fantastic kids work team dedicated to making church a fun experience for children whilst helping them learn more about God. We want all children to grow in their own personal relationship with Him and be empowered to live for Him everyday.

Using a Bible-based curriculum across each age group there are songs, stories, craft activities and games to help the children have an amazing time.
Drinks and light refreshments are provided. We encourage parents to register their children and stay with them until they are settled in for the first time.

We do family “Days Out” so you can find friendships with other parents/ children and explore this wonderful region. Visit our Events page to find out What’s on!
We have a dedicated safeguarding team, which has identified members to ensure that all our staff and volunteers have all the relevant checks in place so that you know for sure, your child is being taught about Jesus and the Church. Our safeguarding Policies and Procedures can be seen HERE

Destiny Weekly groups are our mid-week small groups that meet in homes, cafes and other facilities all over Newcastle upon Tyne.
There is bound to be one near you at a time that suits you.
Being part of a weekly Group means no matter how big the Church becomes someone will always notice you, pray for you and look out for you.

So let us concentrate on things which make for harmony among us and on the growth of our fellowship together. (Romans 14:19)

Times and Directions

Weekly Groups are:

  • A place for ongoing learning and discipleship.

  • A place for everyone to be loved, cared for and looked out for.

  • A safe place to bring friends with questions about the Christian life.

  • A place we do life with each other, have fun, pray and look at the Bible together.

So let us concentrate on things which make for harmony among us and on the growth of our fellowship together. (Romans 14:19)

Media, Sound and Graphics

From photographers, video directors, graphic designers, sound engineers and social media experts; there is a place for you.
Help us make a difference by communicating the story of Jesus through every channel.

We know from Acts chapter 3 that administrators contributed greatly to the growth of the New Testament Church. In fact, without administrators and other helpers, the New Testament Church would not have sustained their growth. Likewise, today they play a huge part in ensuring every part of the Church is administered well & therefore growing strongly.

Worship Team

In the book of Psalms there are many inferences where the author says to ‘sing to the Lord a new song’, to praise Him for His goodness and to ‘play skillfully with a shout of joy’. The worship team are essential in leading the church in worship: praise and worship for Sundays, Healing meetings, Street Outreaches and so much more.

Destiny StreetWorx

Destiny StreetWorx exists to support people the homeless of Newcastle and Gateshead. While empowering them with new life opportunities. This is achieved through a variety of different projects, courses and by partnering with other organisations.
You will support others of this team budgeting their finances, struggling for food, and water, gaining new parenting skills or they may just need someone to talk to while your outside meeting the needs of people who are less fortunate than us.
